SNORING APPLIANCES
Snoring occurs when air does not move freely through your nose and mouth during sleep. The narrowing of upper respiratory tract either due to poor sleep posture or abnormal soft tissues in your throat or retro-positioned lower jaw causes snoring.
TREATMENT
Anti-snoring appliance consists of transparent splints for upper and lower teeth. It counteracts the narrowing of respiratory tracts. The velocity of inspired air decreases and this reduces noise generating vibrations.
